Self Portrait 7:12 | Calgary Lifestyle Photographer

It is once again time for my monthly project called self portrait 12 times.  If you missed it the previous months the general idea is to take a self portrait capturing our relationships with our children, significant other, family, pet, best friend, or ourselves.

Last month my gramma passed away so I went back “home” for her memorial service. It gave me a chance to see some of my friends that still live there.

One the far right is my cousin and closest friend Kristen. Although we are more like sisters then cousins or even friends. We grew up together and are only 7 months in age. She was who I always call for parenting advice, as she has four children and has experienced most everything along the way. We don’t go too many days without talking to each other, either on the phone or by texting.

Now in the middle is my friend Kerri. I first met her through my cousin when we were in elementary school. But it wasn’t until high school until we became very close, virtually inseparable.

Both of them I don’t get to see as much I would like. But the great thing about good friends like these is that nothing changes and we can pick up just like it was 10+ years ago.

Now please head over to the blog of my friend Christina, of Christina Anglum Photography| Katy Houston TX  to see her beautiful face!
