April 18, 2010

I had the pleasure of meeting this fun young couple today who are expecting their first baby in a few months. When G came down the stairs glowing and gorgeous and carrying those red heals, I knew it would be a really fun session! These two are so obviously in love and was a complete pleasure letting me spend a bit of time with them today. Here is their sneak peek… I know, it’s up on the same day even. Well when I uploaded this afternoon I couldn’t help but edit some of my favorites!!

not a newborn anymore – Calgary Baby Photographer

My baby girls is now 5 months old. I know… how did that happen so quick?! She is sitting up and eating rice cereal, laughing and playing with toys… *sniff sniff*! She has the most sweetest personality, yet I’ve seen some fire in her too. I can’t get enough of her especially because it is all going so quick, so I find myself doing a lot of things I swore I would never do and didn’t do with my first. She is likely my last baby so I will continue to baby her and try to soak her all in.

April 11, 2010

March and April must be the longest months… snow is on the way out and everything looks brown, dirty and dusty. But there is evidence that spring is on its way… my lilies are emerging from the ground and the grass is starting to get a bit of a green glow. It still will be another month before the world outside starts to come alive again, until then I am just thankful for the sunshine.

Another post with a gorgeous orchid.

My mom was just here last week visiting and she bought me this 3.5 foot tall orchid. It hast at least 20 flowers on it and a bunch of buds. It is nice to have a bright flower in the house, especially when the world outside is looking pretty drab still.

Happy Good Friday everyone!

Tarable - Gorgeous. Thanks, Robyn. It's pretty dreary and dark here today too.

Happy Easter.
