Hello, I am Robyn and the face behind Little Bug Photography. I am an on-location natural light photographer for Calgary and the surrounding area. I specialize in lifestyle newborn, children and families sessions.
Something wonderful happened to me about 6 years ago…. I became a mommy. I started seeing the world around me in a different way. I quickly realized it was the little moments that mean so much…. gummy grins, first giggles, chubby legs, slobbery kisses, tight hugs wobbly steps, tears on cheeks, cuddles in bed, melt downs followed by “I love you”, and everything in between. It is all real and it is all beautiful.
I am so fortunate to be able to stay at home with three children because it has given me the ability to pursue a career that I am incredibly passionate about. My job enables me to do something so meaningful and magical for other and is something that like my children, never take for granted. In each session I strive to capture those truly genuine moments in a beautiful and uniquely artistic way. Trust me; these are the moments you want to capture because they go by so quickly!
I can only accept a limited number of sessions each month in order to ensure I’m giving 100% of myself to my clients, while still being able to enjoy those precious little moments with my own family. Because of this, it is common for me to be booked about 2-4 months in advance.
I am ever so thankful for my three beautiful little bugs, as well as all the tremendous support from family and friends, especially my husband, for without him I would never have gotten to this point. I can’t wait to share my passion with you and to create personalized, beautiful art from your own family’s little moments.
This blog is where I share my recent newborn and family work, be sure take some time to look around and make sure you have a chance to check out my galleries to view my featured work. I also blog more often over on my other blog www.robynoakenfold.com/blog, where I share both portrait/wedding work, as well as bits and pieces from my personal life.
